Due to the incredible success of the Future of Geospatial Careers Event held last June at the GeoIgnite Conference in Ottawa, GoGeomatics is bringing this format to Toronto and Vancouver in 2020.
Jonathan Murphy, Canada’s Geospatial Career Coach from GoGeomatics, will present his popular talk “Strategies for finding work in the geospatial sector“. During this talk he will share his tactics and insights on how to land your first field related job or find a great new job.
GoGeomatics Canada will also host several all geospatial related companies and organizations who will speak about their job opportunities and offer on the spot interviews to job seekers.
The career event was more than introducing participants to companies and future employers, it provided participants with valuable tools to search for careers in multiple situations and contexts. -Maddy, Ottawa

Western Canada: Join us January 25th in Vancouver at the Four Points by Sheraton Vancouver Hotel located at 8358 Alexandra Road for a full day of geospatial career strategies and job opportunities.
Central Canada: Heading east a week later we will be in Toronto February 1st at the Delta Hotels Toronto East at 2035 Kennedy Road. This will be another great day of jobs and career content focused on the Canadian geomatics sector.
Tickets: Early-Bird Pricing for Vancouver will go until January 11th, and Toronto will go until January 18th.
Early-Bird pricing for students is $35/person and regular is $60/person. We have a very limited quantity of early-bird tickets available, so make sure to take advantage of the discount. Following the cut-off date for early-bird, student pricing increases to $55/person and regular pricing increases to $85/person.
