Canadian Geospatial Directory
Helping to Promote Geomatics in Canada since 2005
The Canadian Geospatial Directory has now been formally discontinued as part of an ongoing effort to streamline and modernize the resources offered through CanadianGIS.com.
It was is a valuable resource containing details about businesses and organizations working with geospatial related technologies, location based services, and all other geomatics related disciplines. However, over time, shifts in industry needs, data availability, and community engagement patterns made it increasingly difficult to maintain the directory at the level of accuracy and usefulness our audience deserves. After careful consideration, it was decided to retire this section so we can focus on delivering more current, high‑value content and tools for the Canadian geospatial community.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to, supported, or relied on the Canadian Geospatial Directory throughout its 10 year lifespan. Community submissions, updates, feedback, and engagement helped shape a resource that served the community well for many years. We remain committed to providing meaningful, authoritative geospatial content and look forward to continuing that work with new initiatives and improved platforms.
