The roofs of the buildings are modeled using photogrammetry and the walls are generated from the extrapolation of the roofs towards down towards the ground. Aerial photographs are applied to projected walls and roofs. The data is structured according to CityGML standards.
Digital terrain models (DTM) of these areas are also available from Montréal Open Data to help users create a more complete 3D digital model of the region.
