Historic Cartography
Helping the
Geospatial Community
Appreciate Vintage
Mapping Skills
The “Historic Cartography” section was created to explore the many great sources of vintage cartography in Canada. The art of cartography is something that should be shared and helps people appreciate geography.
From detailed hand drawn maps by early explorers whom created and documented some of the earliest spatial representations of Canada to maps that focused on nature, the north, and our people.
If you have any historic cartography related content that you would like to share with the geospatial community, then let us know. We will add it to our site and promote it our thousands of social followers (60,000+).
