Alberta Data
The Alberta Geospatial Centre maintains Alberta’s Geospatial Data Authority. Geodiscover Alberta provide quality, authoritative mapping data to citizens that falls under the Open Data Licence to the Alberta Government Open Data Site and provides official data to the AltaLIS group for distribution (fee based). https://geodiscover.alberta.ca/geoportal/
Alberta Open Data Portal – The portal makes data that the Government of Alberta collects on behalf of citizens publicly available https://open.alberta.ca/opendata
AltaLIS Alberta data available through a partnership with the Alberta Government and Spatial Data Warehouse, it has been the main supplier of Alberta Base Mapping Data to the private sector since 1998. AltaLIS offers digital mapping products categorized into three main groups: Property, Base, and Terrain. Note: Most data at this site is not free but they do offer updated imagery products for almost 40% of the province.

Open Data Areas Alberta (ODAA) – ODAA is a new undertaking being spearheaded by Alberta Data Partnerships to put extensive data in the hands of those who can use it. Alberta Geological Survey AGS has a large selection of maps and data for different areas of Alberta showing surficial and bedrock geology, drift thickness, groundwater/hydrogeology, and mineral resources. The Province of Ontario has been providing access to public data since back in the late eighties, but officially launched their open data portal in 2012. It has an extensive data catalogue, with over 2,600 records. The Québec government, along with many of the municipalities of like Laval, Quebec City and Sherbrooke (all had their own open data portals) joined forces in 2016 to create the Québec open data portal. Many other municipalities then followed, and now the site contains almost a thousand different data sets.

Although Saskatchewan does not yet have an official open data portal or website like the other Provinces do, they do provide plenty of geospatial data and maps resources available from a variety places if you know where to look. The Province does maintain a page with various information on access to Geographic Information, that contains links to online maps, related to administrative boundaries, bathymetry, geology, transportation and others. https://www.saskatchewan.ca/government/government-data
The site OpenDataSK, a blog with open data resources for Saskatchewan was started in 2011 and does contain various sources of data related to Saskatchewan, but unfortunately most of them are now dead links or the sites sourced no longer exist (such as GeoBase).
